We have published guidance for new and existing service providers, 'Right support, right care, right culture'. You must read this guidance before you apply.
The guidance aligns with the national Transforming Care Programme and national service model.
Talk to us about your ideas before you apply
We will listen to your proposals or development ideas before you submit a registration application. We will help with interpreting the requirements and give you specialist feedback. From this discussion, we can advise on the likelihood of registration. But we can only decide whether to grant registration once we have an application and have conducted an assessment. It is your decision whether to move forward with a proposal and then apply for registration.
We encourage you to discuss your ideas with us before you apply to register a service for autistic people and people with a learning disability. We recommend you to do this at an early stage of your planning before you take investment decisions about your proposed service.
To request a discussion about your proposals:
- read our guidance for services for autistic people and people with a learning disability (Right support, right care, right culture)
- complete our pre-registration questionnaire and email it to us. This questionnaire helps you consider how your proposals meet the requirements of our guidance. It also help us to support you when we discuss your proposals.
Once we have your form we will put you touch with a registration specialist for these services. They will contact you to arrange your discussion.
When you are ready to apply
After you have read the guidance and you are ready, see how to register as a provider.
