Applications have opened for 3 non-executive director roles on the CQC Board.
The appointments will be made by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and will be for up to 3 years.
Applicants will be expected to show they can:
- operate effectively as a non-executive on the board of a high-profile national organisation
- focus on innovation, culture change, care quality and how to encourage providers to improve
- guide our strategic direction and consider and challenge complex issues from an impartial and balanced viewpoint
- communicate well and work as part of a team, challenging recommendations where necessary.
One of the people appointed must have experience in the mental health sector and knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
