Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

a. The registered provider must not admit any new service user for care or treatment to Hospice of the Good Shepherd Limited, Gordon Lane, Backford, Chester, CH2 4DG without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission.
b. Prior to admitting any new service users, the registered provider must provide CQC with an assessment of the new service user’s care and treatment requirements and how they will meet them, to ensure the safe care and treatment of people who the service.
c. Prior to admitting any new service users, the registered provider must provide CQC with the arrangements for providing 24-hour medical care to service users in receipt of the regulated activity.
d. The Registered Provider must develop and implement an effective system and/or process for the management of service users being under their care. The process should include but not limited to:
(i). Timely clinical/medical advice is sought and acted upon to support patient safety including Out of Hours provision.
