This service is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment, 3 people were receiving support with personal care. The service provides support for both younger and older adults.

We carried out this assessment based upon the rating of the service. The last rating for this service was requires improvement (published 7 November 2022). The provider was previously in breach of the legal regulation in relation to good governance. Improvements were found at this assessment and the provider was no longer in breach of this regulation.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
Medicines were administered safely and as prescribed. Risks in relation to people’s health and wellbeing were identified and risk management plan were developed. The provider had a recruitment process and supported care workers to complete an induction, training and have regular supervision and team meetings to discuss any issues. People’s support needs were assessed to ensure they could be met by the service. Care workers felt they were supported by the registered manager. The provider had quality assurance processes to support them in monitoring the care provided and identifying where improvement actions were required.
