The assessment began on 17 May 2024. We undertook the assessment as we had received concerns about a safeguarding incident which had taken place at the service. We completed an inspection site visit on 22 May 2024 to assess the safety of the service. We did not find any outstanding concerns and were assured that people living at Watford House were safe and in receipt of good care. Staff had been trained to recognise and respond to concerns of abuse and knew what actions to take to keep people safe. There were processes in place to identify and mitigate people’s risks. Risks assessments guided staff to support people in a safe way to reduce the risk of avoidable harm.
