Updated 13 January 2025
This assessment took place between 13 January 2025 and 21 January 2025. Sabin Care is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care services to people in their own homes. This is the first assessment of the service since it was registered on 22 April 2022. During this assessment we looked at 5 key questions, safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. The service was providing regulated activity to 1 person. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. We spoke with the registered manager and 3 care staff. We found a breach of regulation in relation to the leadership of the service. We found systems to monitor and improve the service needed further development. Records were not always robust, and risk assessments lacked important detail to reduce potential risks. People were supported and received care from staff who knew them well, understood their needs and preferences. Staff felt well supported and had received appropriate training.
