Lee Mount is a care home providing personal care for up to 25 people, some of whom are living with dementia. At the time of our inspection there were 24 people living at the service.
The assessment commenced on 5 February 2025 and was completed on 18 February 2025. This included 3 visits to the service on 5, 6 and 13 February 2025. We reviewed 11 quality statements. The overall rating at this assessment is good.
People were safeguarded from abuse and avoidable harm. Medicines were safely managed. People had access to health professionals when required and the provider worked in partnership with external stakeholders. Care was person centred, and people were supported to make decisions about their lifestyles and increase their independence.
People were supported by kind, caring and well-trained staff who saw people as individuals and knew them well.
The strong focus on person centred care with people having positive experiences, which were meaningful to them, had continued to be of an outstanding standard. We saw examples of the continued positive impact of this approach. Staff had gone the extra mile to enable and support people to realise their wishes.
Staff said they felt supported, involved and listened to. The registered managers demonstrated positive values, a commitment to learning and improving and strong leadership skills, which meant the service was well run and managed.
The service was last inspected in September 2019 and was rated good.
