Peoples protected characteristics were considered and staff understood individual preferences and listened to people. Plans for the future were discussed with people and appropriate information was shared. Staff felt well supported and engaged in the service with learning opportunities shared with staff. Governance systems were in place to drive improvements, and the provider ensured people and staff were treated equitably. The provider worked in partnership with other agencies to deliver people’s care. At the last inspection there were breaches of regulations relating to safe care, consent, dignity and governance, at this inspection the provider had made the require improvements and was no longer in breach of regulations. However, the provider had not consistently acted swiftly to address concerns with the building’s fire safety, but steps to reduce the risks had been taken.
