Date of assessment 09 January 2025. Integrity Healthcare Solutions Ltd is a domiciliary care agency registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care and support to people living in their own homes. At the time of this assessment 2 people were receiving a home care service from this provider. The CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. We looked at all 5 key questions during this assessment. Based on the findings of this inaugural CQC assessment we have rated them good overall. People were protected and kept safe. Staff understood and managed risks. Although there were enough staff with the right skills and managers made sure staff received training and appraisals, the provider did not operate robust recruitment checks for staff prior to employing them. People were involved in assessments of their needs. Staff reviewed assessments, taking account of people’s communication, personal and health needs. Staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent. People were treated with kindness and compassion. Staff protected their privacy and dignity. They treated them as individuals and supported their preferences. Staff responded to people in a timely way. People knew how to give feedback and were confident the provider took it seriously and acted on it. People received fair and equal care and treatment. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and culture. Leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive. Staff felt supported to give feedback. Managers worked with partners to deliver the best possible care. However, the provider needed to develop its quality assurance and governance checks to ensure they continued to provide a good service. The provider was in breach of the legal regulation relating to staffing. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
