Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. One patient told us, “I rate the care and quality of service given me by the clinicians, the dental nurses and the reception staff as well above expectation.” Another patient told us, “My experience thus far, has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff from meet to greet, to treatment is remarkably/impressively professional, friendly and attentive, ensuring I have felt comfortable every step of the way.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. One patient said, “The nursing team are equally impressive – supportive, professional and always going above and beyond to provide the best possible care.”

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected. One patient told us, “I’m a very nervous patient and each member of staff I have dealt with has always been kind and considerate and tried to put me at ease.”

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. One staff member told us, “The management team and the clinicians I work with made me feel like a valued member of the team.” Another staff member said, “My work is appreciated, and I’m encouraged to grow. The support I receive helps me do my best for patients and the team.”
