During an inspection in response to concerns
We used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of people using the service, because the people using the service had complex needs which meant they were not always able to tell us their experiences. We used the Short Observational Framework for Inspection (SOFI). SOFI is a specific way of observing care to help us understand the experience of people who could not talk with us.
One person's relatives we spoke with said they had never had any concerns or issues about the care provided. They also told us 'There seem to be enough staff, there are usually at least three on when we visit.'
One person told us the food was 'Lovely and I get enough to eat.' We saw from a survey that one relative had written: 'I get occasional comments about the quantity of food, but never the quality.'
