Updated 8 January 2025
Date of Assessment: 21 January 2025. The service is a Domiciliary Care Agency, providing support and personal care to people in their own homes. At the time of our inspection 164 people were using the service. This was the first inspection since the service registered. We found 4 breaches of the legal regulations in relation to safeguarding, medicines, managing risks posed to people and governance. Records did not evidence staff always appropriately when recording accidents or incidents, or always took appropriate action to protect people from the risk of harm. Medicines were not always managed safely. Governance systems failed to identify concerns we found during this inspection. Care records required improvements to ensure information was accurate and up to date. Staff were mostly recruited safely and most staff told us they were happy in their roles, whilst other staff told us care could be improved for people. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
