Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

All the 43 patients feedback we received positive about the care and treatment. Patients said they felt the practice offered an “excellent service” and “staff were helpful”, “caring” and “gives good advice on dental care”.

Patients said staff responded compassionately when they were in pain and needed help and support.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey; patients were happy with the care and treatment received at the practice.

During our inspection we observed that members of staff were courteous and very helpful to patients and treated them with dignity and respect. Surgery room doors were closed during consultations; conversations taking place in these rooms could not be overheard.

Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights.

Staff were aware of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles.

Leaders described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.
