The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. People were involved in their care and their preferences were respected. Staff told us, “[The person] is capable to make their own decisions about their need. What they want is how we deliver the service.” A person’s relative said, “[The registered manager] involves [the person] in their care and respects their preferences.”
