We carried out this announced on-site assessment on 3 March 2025.
We found the practice had met regulations.
Infection control procedures in place were effective.
The practice had systems to identify and manage risks. We identified shortfalls in the management of risks associated with legionella, radiography and fire safety which were rectified following this assessment.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.
The practice is in Bedworth, Warwickshire and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people near the practice.
The practice had 12 treatment rooms. At the time of our assessment, there was a total of 54 staff, of which there were 16 dentists, 2 visiting sedationists, 21 dental nurses, (10 of which were trainees), 2 dental hygienists, 6 receptionists, 1 treatment co-ordinator, 2 support staff, 1 administrator, the facilities manager, assistant manager and practice manager. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our assessment.
