Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 77 service users at Willow View Care Home.
The Registered Provider must within 10 days of this condition coming into effect a written Infection and Prevention Control action plan confirming what measures are in place to prevent and control the spread of infections. The action plan must address how the registered provider will ensure:
i. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is being worn correctly;
ii. Staff have received training in wearing PPE appropriately (including donning and doffing);
iii. Donning and doffing stations contain sufficient supplies of PPE;
and
iv. Effective governance and oversight procedures are in place to monitor all infection prevention and control processes.
The Registered Provider must within 10 days of this condition coming into effect, provide to the Respondent on the first Monday of each month by 4pm a written report setting out what actions are being or have been taken at the Location:
i. To establish and effectively implement a system to ensure accidents and incidents are appropriately identified, reported, recorded and managed.
ii. The report must include a monthly overview of any accidents and incidents that occurred including the actions taken, lessons learnt and outcomes.
iii. To establish and effectively implement a system to assess, monitor and mitigate risks to service users prioritising service users at risk of choking who have modified diet in place.
iv. The report must include a monthly overview of any quality assurance processes that have been completed including risks identified, actions taken and outcomes.
The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require personal or nursing care at Willow View Care Home.
