Leaders/staff described the reasonable adjustments they had made to ensure the practice was accessible. The practice had access to large print and electronic devices with text enlarging facilities to support patients with impaired vision. The practice had a ground floor surgery. Staff had access to language translation services, including British Sign Language and several staff in the practice spoke additional languages including Mandarin, Portuguese and Spanish.

Staff were clear about the importance of providing emotional support to patients when delivering care. For example, patients received introductory phone calls prior to on-site appointments to provide information and reassurance, as well as follow-up well-being phone calls.

Staff had carried out a disability access audit and had formulated an action plan to continually improve access for patients.

The practice displayed its opening hours and provided information on their website.

The practice provided telephone numbers for patients to contact with queries following endodontic treatment where required.
