Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance, and infection control procedures were in place.
The practice had systems to manage risks.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.
The practice is in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
Due to the nature of the building, the practice was not wheelchair accessible with 3 steps at the entrance to the practice. The practice does not have its own car park but there parking spaces are available on the road directly outside the practice and disabled parking is available at a nearby supermarket.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. The total number of staff was 9. During the assessment we spoke with 2 dentists, 1 dental hygienists, 2 dental nurses, 1 receptionist and the practice manager.
