Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require personal or nursing care at Woodlands Care Home.
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 19 service users at Woodlands Care Home.
By 5pm on 14 April 2025, the registered provider must review their systems, source and deploy a suitable staffing dependency tool for care homes to determine the right number of staff needed to meet the needs of service users to ensure provision of safe and effective care. ¿This review must be sent to the Care Quality Commission by 5pm on 16 April 2025 and must include timescales for actions to be completed and details of who will be responsible for implementing these actions.
By 5pm on 14 April 2024, the Registered Provider must ensure that the needs of service users living in the home, in respect of fire safety including PEEPs accurately reflect their needs. The registered provider must provide evidence of this to the Care Quality Commission no later than 5pm on 16 April 2025.
By 5pm on 14 April 2025 the registered provider must make arrangements to assess the safety (including fire safety) of Woodlands Care Home via a person qualified to do so of the safety of the newly built extension that houses up to 9 services users including all fire doors and emergency escape routes in the service and develop a comprehensive improvement plan in relation to any deficiencies identified in the review. This plan must be sent to the Care Quality Commission by 5pm 16 April 2025 and must include timescales for actions to be completed and details of who will be responsible for implementing these actions.
From 8pm on 11 April 2025, the registered provider must ensure no service users are accommodated into the main building currently undergoing building works at the location at Woodlands Care Home 84 Long Lane, Ickenham, Uxbridge Middlesex UB10 8SX.¿ The registered provider may only accommodate a maximum of 9 service users within the newly extended building at Woodlands Care Home 84 Long Lane, Ickenham, Uxbridge Middlesex UB10 8SX.
The registered provider must not admit any service user to The Woodlands Care Home without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission. This includes service users who require respite care or re-admit service users who have been admitted to hospital. The term “admit” includes re-admission of any service user.
