This assessment was carried out on 28 November 2024. Florence Nursing Home is a care home accommodating up to 30 older people, some of whom may be living with dementia. At the time of the inspection 25 people were using the service. Following this assessment, the service has received an overall rating of ‘Good’ for the quality statements we assessed.

During the assessment, we spoke with 2 people who used the service and 2 relatives. We also spoke with the registered manager, home manager and four staff members. Feedback we received from people and their relatives was very positive. They told us they thought the service was safe, there were social activities that they could attend if they wished to, and they received good quality care and support from the service.
