Well-led
We found this practice was providing well led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance. The provider had made improvements in relation to the regulatory breaches we found at our assessment on 21 May 2024.

Governance, management and sustainability
At the assessment on 29 November 2024, we found the practice had made improvements to comply with the regulations. Processes for identifying and managing risks had improved. There was improved oversight and effective systems in place for the monitoring of the risks associated with fire safety, control and storage of substances hazardous to health, lone working and the management of Legionella. The practice had implemented robust systems to ensure that checks of medical emergency equipment, medicines and dental materials were effective. The practice’s governance and leadership arrangements had improved to ensure sustainability in the longer term. The practice had also made further improvements by ensuring all staff had completed training on learning disabilities and autism, to a level appropriate to their role and ensuring clinicians were following up to date guidance issued by the College of General Dentistry and Faculty of Dental Surgery regarding the prescribing of antimicrobials.
