We found the practice had met all regulations.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
There were effective infection control procedures in place, which reflected legislation.
The practice had governance systems, which included to manage risks. However, these were not always effective nor fully reflective of practice protocols and legislation.
Peelhouse Dental Care is in Widnes and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was portable ramp access to the practice and car parking spaces were available near the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of assessment there were 14 staff. During the assessment we spoke with 3 dentists, 1 dental therapist, 1 dental nurse, and the practice manager.
