During a routine inspection
The staff were respectful of people's privacy and all consultations were undertaken privately in a treatment room. When people were asked to confirm their name and address we witnessed this being done sensitively and in a way that did not compromise confidentiality.
Throughout a persons 'journey' we saw that questions were asked to ensure that the staff supplying the care and treatment had the relevant information to provide the most appropriate care. We saw that records were well documented and could be readily accessed as necessary.
We found there was enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. These staff had been supported to attend training and were encouraged to be part of 'a team' even though many of them worked as 'bank staff' and their hours varied from month to month.
