Date of assessment 22 August 2024 to 26 August 2024. Aurora Hyde Lodge is a residential care home for people with a learning disability or autistic person, providing accommodation and personal care. At the time of our assessment there were 7 people living at the service. At our last assessment in February 2024, we identified 2 breaches of regulations. Following our findings the provider submitted an action plan. The purpose of this assessment was to follow up the providers action plan and determine if the service was now compliant with the regulations. This assessment has not changed the overall rating. The service remains good. We assessed a quality statement governance, management and sustainability in the Well-led key question and found most improvements had been made. This included ensuring care plans and risk assessment were current and up to date. The provider had improved their quality assurance audits. Right care; the provider was aware improvements were still needed to ensuring mental capacity and best interest decisions were completed. Right culture; a new manager was in post and staff told us they felt well supported by them and improvements had been made following our last assessment. Right support; care plans were current and up to date. Although, improvements were still needed to ensure all notifications were made when required.
