During an inspection looking at part of the service
The registered manager showed us evidence that all staff had completed safeguarding adults training. This showed that the provider had made suitable arrangements to ensure that staff were able to respond appropriately in the event of any allegations of abuse.
At this inspection we found that the service did have an effective recruitment and selection procedure in place. A Disclosure and Barring check had been completed for all staff working at the service.
We found that staff had received appropriate training to enable them to deliver support to people using the service safely and to an appropriate standard. We found that staff had received regular supervision sessions.
At this inspection we found the service had an effective complaints system in place. The service had provided people or their representative with information about how to make a complaint.
We found that people's records had been reviewed and each person had a support plan in place.
