Well-led
We found this practice was providing well led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance. The provider had made improvements in relation to the regulatory breach we found at our on-site assessment on 15 July 2024.

Governance, management and sustainability
At the on-site focused assessment on 24 December 2024, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with regulations: The Control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) product storage area was secure and signed appropriately. Emergency lights were tested at appropriate intervals. A carbon monoxide detector was present. A general waste bin, stored at the front of the building, was made secure to prevent unauthorised interference and arson. A radiation warning sign on Surgery 1 was in place. Aspirin located in the emergency medicines kit was dispersible. A cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) service level agreement for referrers was available. All staff training was up to date and monitored appropriately.
Mop heads were stored apart to prevent risk of cross contamination. The staff area floor covering was intact. Heavy duty gloves were changed at appropriate intervals (weekly). Prescription pads were logged and stored securely when not in use. Staff employment records were stored securely. A hearing loop was available. A general data protection regulations (GDPR) compliant accident book was available. Records of patient complaints were stored securely in a manager's office. A closed-circuit television (CCTV) privacy impact assessment was available. CCTV "Rationale and Data Controller" information was available for patients and visitors.
