Oasis Group (London) Limited is a domiciliary care service providing personal care to people who live in their own home. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of the inspection there was approximately 70 people receiving personal care.
The provider supported people with care that was safe, effective, caring and responsive. The service had systems in place to safeguard people from the risk of abuse and allegations of abuse had been dealt with in line with policies and procedures. Risk assessments were in place for people and these included information about how to mitigate the risks they faced. There were enough staff to meet people’s needs and the provider had robust staff recruitment practices in place. People’s needs were assessed before they started using the service and on an on-going basis. People were able to consent to their care and the provider promoted people’s independence, choice and control. People were supported to achieve equity in experiences and outcomes.
This was a planned assessment of seven quality statements under the key questions of safe, effective, caring and responsive. The service registered with us on 13 November 2017. The service has been rated good following this assessment.
Inspection activity started on 5 February 2025 and ended on 20 February 2025. We carried out the site visit on 11 February 2025. We gave the service 48 hours’ notice of the inspection. This was because we wanted to make sure someone would be available to support us with the inspection.
