During an assessment under our new approach
The practice is part of a wider network of GP practices within the Clacton Primary Care Network (PCN).
There is one main GP partner and 2 regular locum GPs. There is a nursing team of 5, 1 nurse manager, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 nurse and 1 healthcare assistant. There is a team of reception/administration/secretarial and dispensing staff. The practice has staff working at the practice from the Primary Care Network (PCN) these included a care coordinator, physiotherapist, children's mental health worker, and a digital and transformation lead.
There were clear governance, management, and accountability arrangements in place.
Whilst we found no breaches the provider should:
Continue to work on reducing the number of antibacterial prescription items prescribed in line with local and national averages.
Improve systems to evidence learning opportunities for all staff from complaints to improve the quality of care.
