Well-led
The leadership team maintained a positive culture and were very passionate about the service. Governance and management systems were in place to drive improvements. Staff were positive about their roles and the support they received by management.

The provider had systems and procedures in place to promote improvement and support to staff. These included supervision sessions and opportunities for reflection and discussion with management. During our assessment we saw evidence of the service working effectively with the local authority and other stakeholders to meet shared goals for people receiving care in the local community.
Capable, compassionate and inclusive leaders
The provider had effective systems in place to ensure oversight of incoming information and communication with people. A person using the service told us, "The most important thing for me is that I can ring the office at any time and even if the manager is unavailable there is always someone else available to talk”. Staff were very positive about their roles and the support they received from the senior team. The leadership team maintained a positive culture and were very passionate about the service.
Freedom to speak up
The provider encouraged an open and transparent culture with seeking feedback by people and their relatives. The leadership team promoted the principle of freedom to speak up and investigated thoroughly before acting promptly on received complaints.
