Our view of the service
Assessment date: 22 November 2023 to 29 November 2023. We looked at parts of the safe, effective, responsive and well-led key questions. We found concerns around the management of people's medicines and governance processes within the practice which resulted in a breach of regulation 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. People's experience of this service
We received feedback from care homes where people live who were positive about their interactions with the practice when supporting people to access care and treatment. We reviewed data provided by the practice and from external sources which showed patients felt listened to, involved and had confidence and trust in the last healthcare professional they saw at the practice. However, responses from the GP Patient Survey indicated patients were not always able to access care, support, and treatment in a timely manner and in a way that met their needs or preferences.
