Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Person must not accept any new care packages at the location Courtyard Mews, The Nucleus Business and Innovation Centre, Brunel Way, Dartford, DA1 5GA without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission.
This includes any respite care packages, existing service users who are discharged from hospital and return home or any restart of care packages seeking to return to the Registered Person. Within 4 days of the imposition of this condition on the Registered Person’s registration notice taking effect, and thereafter each Friday at 9am, the registered person must provide risk assessments for each service user to the Care Quality Commission setting out how it will ensure risks to service users are managed. You are required to set out a separate risk assessment for each service user and each risk, detailing the risk, mitigation and guidance for staff to follow to ensure care and support is safe, and meets individual service users’ assessed risks.
These risk assessments must include but are not limited to: risks associated with providing personal care to a person with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, paraplegia, pressure areas, moving and handling, depression, dementia, risks relating to nutrition and hydration, chronic kidney disease, osteoporosis, and acquired brain injury.
