Date of assessment 7 November 2024 including remote discussions with the practice management team. The assessment was prompted in part by information shared with CQC that indicated potential concerns about the culture and clinical governance arrangements of the practice. The practice was fully supportive of the assessment, which examined those risks. We found two breaches of the legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment and good governance. Staff did not consistently protect people from abuse and improper treatment. Medicines were not managed safely. People’s individual needs were not assessed and managed in a timely manner. Governance systems and audits were not effective in identifying or addressing areas for improvement.
