Date of assessment 23 September 2024 to 12 November 2024. We carried out an assessment to follow up on the warning notice we issued on 14 May 2024. The service had made improvements since the last assessment and was no longer in breach of regulations. Improvements had been made around record keeping. Leaders had a good oversight of the home. Audits now included action plans which were effectively used to make improvements. Risk assessments and care plans were now person-centred. Staff confirmed their awareness of their roles and responsibilities in relation to record keeping. The registered manager explained how they had coached and mentored staff to support their understanding around audits and record-keeping. The manager also told us they completed spot checks on audits to ensure these were completed correctly.
