Caring
Women were treated with kindness, compassion and dignity in their day-to-day care and support. They felt staff listened and communicated with them appropriately, in a way they could understand. Women’s privacy and dignity was respected and upheld at all times. The most recent CQC national maternity survey results published in February 2024 showed the trust were slightly below the national average when women were asked whether they were treated with kindness and understanding after the birth of their baby. The trust scored 7.9 against the national average 8.4.
