Responsive
We assessed 1 quality statement from this key question. People and their relatives were involved in care planning and care plans were person centred. People were supported to access medical care when they needed to. There was no evidence of any discrimination but those people who spent all their time in their room had less opportunities for social engagement.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
Relatives told us that they had been involved in the formulation and discussion on care plans and said that changes in need or suggestions were listened to and facilitated where possible. Where people required additional support with communication good descriptions of the adaptations were outlined in their care plans. Care plans were person centred however the assessment and care planning process would benefit on a great focus on people's mental wellbeing to ensure better outcomes. People were supported to access medical care when they needed to. There was no evidence of any discrimination but those people who spent all their time in their room had less opportunities for social engagement.
The registered manager told us they provide support to people to attend appointments or liaise with health professionals if required.
