Our view of the service

We carried out this on-site announced assessment on 7 February 2025.

We found the practice had met all regulations.

Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance, and infection control procedures were in place.

Recruitment policies reflected current legislation and there was visible and accessible leadership.

Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.

Improvements should be made to the systems for the management of risks and staff training to ensure they are effective.

Norfolk House Dental Care Ltd is in the town of Gloucester, Gloucestershire and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

People's experience of this service

We reviewed patient feedback from external sources, for example online feedback and ratings tools. Patients commented positively about the staff at the practice, commenting they felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and that they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Other feedback comments showed patients were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
