People and their relatives told us that they had the opportunity to raise concerns and offer feedback regarding the quality of service they received. One relative told us, “When I’ve had any problems, I’ve spoken to them, and it’s been sorted…They’ve taken care of [relative] and that’s been my main concern.”

Staff told us that they treated people with fairness and respect. They had a good understanding of person centred care. One staff member told us, “It’s about how they want their care, it’s their choices, it’s about respecting them and about how you deliver that care.”

The provider had systems in place to promote equity of experience and outcomes. The provider was able to give numerous examples of how they had met people’s religious and cultural needs. This included supporting people to their preferred place of worship and recruiting staff able to speak people’s first language.
