Our view of the service

Moorlands Neurological Centre is a neurobehavioural hospital service for men and women over the age of 18 years, who have an acquired brain injury. The service is a part of the Elysium Healthcare group. We carried out an on-site assessment on the 29 and 30 May 2024 and reviewed data related to the assessment. At the time of the last inspection in December 2022 the centre was a learning disability service called the Woodhouse Independent Hospital and was rated Inadequate. Since this time the service has changed it's name and service user group. We assessed the service to ensure that that the current service user needs were being met.
