The site visit on 14 August 2024 was undertaken by an assessor and a regulatory coordinator. The site visit on 25 September 2024 was undertaken by 1 assessor. An expert by experience made telephone calls to people’s relatives on 19 August 2024. An Expert by Experience is a person who has personal experience of using or caring for someone who uses this type of care service. Staff calls were made during the week commencing 26 August 2024. The assessment was prompted by information we held about the service. We carried out a full assessment. We found that some risk assessments lacked information. The provider needs to ensure that information is fully documented during the recruitment process. Some areas of the service were in need of re-decoration. Medicines were well managed. Our observations showed that people were treated with kindness and their privacy and dignity was protected.
