Date of assessment: 22 January 2025 to 14 February 2025. The service provided personal care to people with enduring mental health needs living in their own home within two buildings located in the same grounds. At the time of this assessment 2 people received the regulated activity. Staff told us they were well supported, there was good teamworking and they felt valued. People had been involved in assessing their needs and information gathered was used to develop personalised care plans. Care plans described people’s preferences, measures to manage potential risks and personal information about people to help staff better understand their needs. The provider had systems to identify and investigate allegations of abuse and learn lessons to prevent future occurrences. Staff had completed specific safeguarding training, as well as a range of other care related training. New staff were recruited safely. There were effective quality assurance systems, which had been successful in identifying and addressing issues. There were regular opportunities for people and staff to give feedback and make suggestions.
