Date of assessment: 22 January 2025 – 18 February 2025
This was the first assessment of this service since it registered on 8 February 2022.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
Risks were identified in relation to a person’s health and wellbeing. Risk management plans were developed to provide care workers with guidance on how to manage these risks. Medicines were administered safely and as prescribed. The provider had a robust recruitment process and care workers completed an induction, a range of training as well as regular supervision and team meetings. People’s care needs were assessed before their care package started. Care workers felt supported by senior staff. The provider had an effective quality assurance system to monitor and identify improvements to the service.
