We did not look at Assessing needs during this assessment. The score for this quality statement is based on the previous rating for Effective.
Delivering evidence-based care and treatment
The provider planned and delivered people’s care and treatment with them, including what was important and mattered to them. They did this in line with legislation and current evidence-based good practice and standards. People and their relatives did not express any concerns in relation to the care they received. They confirmed they were involved in planning and reviewing their care. Staff knew people well and were knowledgeable of people’s risks related to their care and support. Care plans we reviewed had enough detail with information that was evidence- based and in line with good practice standards to support care staff. This included food and drink consistency and involving health professionals where more clinical tasks were needed. Referrals were made to health and social care professionals as required to ensure people received appropriate care and treatment.
