Date of assessment: 28 January to 3 March 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people within their own homes including older people, younger adults, adults who may be living with dementia, people that have a mental health condition, a physical disability or sensory impairment. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating.
People were at the centre of their care receiving care they wanted and needed, which was reviewed on a regular basis. Staff treated people with kindness and compassion, protecting their privacy and dignity. People’s medicines were managed by staff who had been trained and were knowledgeable. People were given regular opportunities to provide feedback about their care. Staff worked alongside health care professionals to ensure people remained healthy
Managers ensured staff were trained to meet people’s needs whilst receiving regular support and supervision. The management team completed checks and audits to ensure they were providing a high-quality service. There was a strong vision and set of values for the agency which was shared amongst all staff.
