During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this announced on-site assessment on 23 January 2025.

We found the practice had met all regulations.

Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.

There were procedures for assessing, monitoring and managing risks to patient and staff safety.

Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance and infection control procedures were in place.

There was a clear leadership structure and staff felt supported by management.

Parkway Dental care is registered with Care Quality Commission as a partnership. The practice is in the London Borough of Camden and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

During a routine inspection

We found a clean, well maintained practice and. patients we spoke with told us they were happy with the service provided. They felt they were given enough information about their treatment options as well as the fee scales and had no hesitation in asking any question in relation to their treatment or cost.

Patients told us the staff were friendly and accommodating. They told us treated them with respect and dignity as well as maintaining their privacy. Consultations took place within private surgeries where privacy and confidentiality were ensured.

Patients were able to provide feedback about their experience and they were encouraged to make suggestions for the better running of the practice. They told us the staff were extremely helpful in explaining the treatment as well as the costs.

Patient information was freely available. Records were appropriately and securely stored
