Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Blossom Dental Centre is in York and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice had 7 treatment rooms. At the time of our assessment, there was a total of 30 staff, of which there were 7 dentists, 11 dental nurses, 3 dental therapists, 2 dental hygienists, 4 receptionists, a treatment coordinator, an administrator, and the practice manager.
We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our assessment, including 2 dentists, 4 dental nurses, the decontamination lead, 1 dental therapist, 3 receptionists and the practice manager.
