We found the practice had met regulations.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment and could access care, support and treatment when required.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance and infection control procedures were in place.
The practice had systems to manage risks.
Recruitment procedures did not entirely reflect current legislation.
The service provides non-surgical cosmetic treatments, which are not in scope of regulation and are not covered in our assessment.
The practice is in Southampton and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The entrance to the practice had 2 small steps. A portable ramp was available for wheelchair or pushchair users. Car parking spaces were available at the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. During the assessment we spoke with the principal dentist, an associate dentist, 2 dental nurses, 1 receptionist, 2 treatment co-ordinators and the business manager.
