Workforce wellbeing and enablement

The service cared about and promoted the wellbeing of their staff and supported and enabled staff to always deliver person-centred care. Staff told us their training programme equipped them with the skills and knowledge required to do their job. One staff member told us, “Training does cover a wide variety. I recently completed inclusivity training, looking at mental health and keeping active, it is good training.” The manager told us the provider had several resources the staff could access to support with their health and wellbeing. Staff told us they had access to an employee assistance programme, had regular rest days and felt supported and listened to.
