Our view of the service
Date of assessment: 13 to 21 January 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency (DCA) registered to provide personal care. People were supported with their personal care needs to enable them to live in their own homes and promote their independence. At the time of the assessment the service supported 24 people with personal care. At our last assessment there was a breach of regulation regarding the systems used for the governance of the service. We found the service had made improvements and was no longer in breach of regulations. Leaders and staff were motivated to provide a caring, personalised service and support people with their independence. People’s care needs were assessed and staff understood how to care for people safely. Staff worked well as a team to communicate any changes to people’s care and offer consistent care to people. Staff were supported by an experienced leadership team who had oversight of people’s care and responded swiftly when people’s care needs changed. The leadership team were open, honest and people and staff found them approachable and supportive.
