Our view of the service
This service is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own houses and flats. At the time of our assessment, 7 older people were using the service.
Date of assessment: 14 to 18 February 2025.
This was the first assessment of the service since it was registered with CQC on 1 December 2022.
People received safe and personalised care. They were involved in planning and reviewing their care. People and their relatives were asked about their experiences and able to give feedback on their care to the provider. This feedback was listened to and acted on. The staff were appropriately trained and supported. Staff were happy working for the agency and had a good knowledge of their roles and responsibilities. The service was well-led. The registered manager was experienced and visible. There were effective systems for monitoring and improving the quality of the service.
People's experience of this service
People using the service and their relatives were happy with the care they received. They liked the staff. Staff arrived on time and provided person-centred care. They were able to make choices, and these were respected. They told us the agency was responsive and flexible when they requested changes. Comments from people using the service and their relatives included, “The best thing about the service has been the character and personality of the carer”, “I would gladly recommend Eleada Care Services, for their reliability in difficult circumstances” and “They keep my relative’s best interest at the heart of what they do.’’
