Responsive – this means we looked for evidence that the provider met people’s needs. At our last assessment we rated this key question Good. At this assessment the rating has remained Good. This meant people’s needs were met through good organisation and delivery. The provider and staff ensured they tailored the care and support in response to people’s individual needs. One member of staff fed back, “Helping people and making a difference is very rewarding.”

Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who are most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this. One person told us they struggled to get out of their home but were now supported to do this with the care staff. They said, “I love it, it’s the only way I can get out the house. My carers are out of this world.” Staff understood the need to support people. One member of staff told us, “I don’t talk down to people, it’s about having a common ground.”
